Our son started his intense therapy session at Elijah’s Social cognitive skill centre when he was 4 years old (now he’s 8). And we received high professional support from Dr. Elijah, her senior and junior team through EHC plan process, schools search and close relationships with the school support for our son. My experience – centre runs on the close – hands on- everyday communication between therapists -pupils-parents. My understanding- every child ( or adult) is unique in his own ability and disability and it takes passion and love for what we do to make a difference in someone else’s and our own life. Education and professional development of the team comes with training and being exposed to educiatinal knowledge (senior staff!) and unique personalities (our kids!), healthy communication between parents and the centre team.
