Dr Debora Elijah is a Cognitive Neuropsychologist based in North West London. Her areas of specialism are Autism Spectrum Disorders, Aspergers, ADHD/ADD, and Social Communication Skills for a wide range of age groups.
Debora offers both one-to-one therapy as well as groups at the Elijah Centre in North West London.The Elijah Centre is a specialist provision for children who display social communication difficulties, social sensory sensitivities
and ADD and ADHD. Typically, these children display cognitive delays, challenging behaviours, emotional and self-regulation challenges. Every child and adolescent is unique and their assessment and PROSCIG© intervention pathway addresses their unique profile of strengths and developmental needs. PROSCIG© - Social Cognitive Intervention Program in Groups of Pairs in Social Networks (Elijah, 2013). The program is based in Northwest and Central London, and implements a social-cognitive approach, with an individualised and holistic framework involving all areas of child development. The PROSCIG© program consists of the following three modules: social solving problem; social perception and self-regulation.
Debora believes that every child can contribute and be an active member within the family, at school and in the community. Where young people experience a disconnection or social and communication difficulties, it is our job to make a connection with them and make them whole: to empower every child to achieve their true potential and lead a happier and more fulfilled life.
